After visiting San Isidoro, the students went to what might be León’s most famous landmark – the cathedral. Here, students were able to climb up and see the areas where restorations are currently being done in an effort to restore and enhance the cathedral’s many stained glass windows. A local guide explained to us the history of some of the most important glass pieces and the labor-intensive restoration process.
